Comano 2016 75cl

The 2015 Ticino Merlot Riserva Comano has a deep, intense dark ruby color and offers a fascinating nose of perfectly ripe and spicy red and dark berry aromas intermixed with deep, earthy, terroir and some noble toasty aromas. This is a full-bodied, intense, generous, smooth, lush and elegant Merlot with remarkable fruit intensity, fine tannins and a lovely fresh, complex, persistent and juicy finish. This is really good Merlot from the Italian part of Switzerland. The wine sells for 49 CHF. Tasted in Zurich, August 2017.
