Chambertin 1982 75cl

Surprisingly rich, and one of the best Maumes for current drinking, this wine has shed much of its tannin. It still displays an admirable deep ruby color, and a big, clean, highly scented nose of black fruits, minerals, and spices. On the palate, it is voluptuous and rich. An outstanding success for the vintage. Drink it over the next 6-8 years.
